Here’s the story…
 
I wrote the email below, a few nights ago. Initially, I was going to send it out to my entire list but I didn’t. Because I knew that out of the 126,780 entrepreneurs on my list this offering was only right for a fraction of my readers.
 
When I was done writing the email, I read it aloud to Mike Filsaime, who immediately said “Sign me up!”. That got me thinking… Since both Mike and I were attending, I decided to send this to my closest friends, and my top affiliates first. That way, they could have a good head-start to get in on this landmark event.

After all, how many people do you know that have built not just one, but TWO information marketing empires, worth far more than 100 million dollars in annual sales? I don’t know any one else but the guy in this email.

He didn’t volunteer for the job, but once I lock my sights on a mentor who I know can help me grow my business there isn’t anything I won’t do to get access.

Two examples come to mind…

The first was eight years ago, when I had my hypnosis business. I dropped everything to fly across country just to have a 70 minute lunch with Sy Sberling to learn how he had taken the small company he founded, Hair Club For Men and turned it into an extraordinarily lucrative national brand.

Why would I do all this? Well, here’s a quick story that should shed some light on the question.
 
Last month I had a major issue come up in my business. It forced me to make a difficult yet critical decision. Because of its importance I immediately called 3 of my most respected friends (all with 10 to 20 million dollar businesses of their own) to gauge their opinions.
 
Each suggested the same action I was planning on taking. I felt relieved. Then on the drive into work as I passed the Agora office I saw “his” car parked out front. So, I decided to pop-in unannounced.
 
After some small talk I told him about the problem and what I was planning on doing about it. He gave it a moments thought, and then proceeded to tell me all the reasons why I was looking at the situation the wrong way, and how he had worked through a similar challenge many years earlier when Agora was still in it’s early stages.
 
He then explained what he had done (it was the exact opposite of what I had been planning and what my friends had advised.) But as soon as he explained the solution to me it was obvious how much simpler and more profitable his answer was.
 
Only in hindsight, could I see that by taking his advice I’ve actually brought Strategic Profits one step closer to following in the footsteps of Agora and its immense success.
 
A few days later, I called my friends back to share with them his advice and what I had done. They all agreed it was a far superior solution.
 
What struck me, was simple, what looked like the best decision to me a $10 million business owner and my peers, was quite frankly, short-sighted and lacked the perspective of what it really takes to grow a business beyond the $100 million mark.
 
You see, it’s an entirely different way of thinking that takes a business to these monstrous levels. And sadly most entrepreneurs will never even get the chance to be introduced to it.
 
It’s rare enough to meet a man who’s taken a single business past the 100 million dollar level, much less two of them. But it’s even rarer to find one who is willing to help you do the same.
 
Which is why I am sending you this email, and why it’s only appropriate for a small percentage of the 126,870 entrepreneurs on my opt-in list.
 
The man, the myth, and the legend that I’ve been talking to you about is Michael Masterson. And if you couldn’t tell by now, I feel extremely lucky to have him in my corner.
